About this unit

This Martin Audio WS2 is a second-hand full-range speaker from the Wavefront Series, housed in a black wooden enclosure with a protective front grille. Before listing, we verified that the unit powers on and produces sound, and we inspected the cabinet for cosmetic condition. The buyer can expect a functional speaker with minor cosmetic wear, ready for integration into a professional audio system.

Visible wear (see close-up photos)

  • Black wooden cabinet shows light surface marks and minor scuffs from previous use.
  • Front grille is intact with slight dust and faint handling marks along the frame.
  • Edges and corners show mild wear consistent with careful handling in service.

Electrical & function — power-on tested

  • Unit was powered on and confirmed to produce sound during listing preparation.
  • Playback was checked to confirm the speaker outputs audio as expected.
  • Cabinet was inspected for cosmetic condition before the unit was listed.

Why buy from OxGears

Hi, I'm Chris 👋

I run OxGears and have been trading used pro audio for five years. Every unit that reaches my bench goes through:

  • 1 Power-on burn-in, 24 hours minimum
  • 2 Function-by-function checks
  • 3 Flaw photos kept on file
  • 4 Serial number and year verified

Nothing gets listed until it passes, and every visible mark and repair is written down. I pick your gear the way I would pick my own.
